New Subject Matter Experts Strengthen Offerings from AdvancementEDU
At AdvancementEDU, we continually review and discuss how to offer maximal value to our college and independent school partners. Recently, those efforts have included expanding our team to include two subject matter experts in the advancement field.
McKenzie Diehm is our Managing Director of Advancement Services, Prospect Research, and Portfolio Management. She brings over a decade of expertise in educational development, having served both small liberal arts colleges and large AAU-member institutions.
McKenzie focuses on customized, data-driven solutions to empower fundraising teams. She holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Data Analytics/Business Intelligence, which directly informs the work she completes for our partners. Whether in the spotlight or behind the scenes, her prospect research, data management, and years of experience support and inform nearly all of our work.
We are also thrilled to welcome Hayley Harris as a new colleague. Hayley is our Managing Director of Annual Giving and Engagement and she has over ten years of experience strengthening fundraising programs. Most recently, she served as the Director of Annual Giving at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she orchestrated multi-channel campaigns – spanning direct mail, email, advertising, crowdfunding, and engagement center efforts – and oversaw the strategic planning and execution of GiveUNC, Carolina’s annual day of giving, to raise over $12 million in a single day at peak. Hayley also served as the Director of Alumni Engagement at High Point University, where her team doubled alumni participation through thoughtful donor engagement pipelines and effective campaigns.
As AdvancementEDU, Hayley supports institutions with bold yet practical strategies, offering expertise in appeal design, giving day optimization, donor segmentation, and cutting-edge tools recommendations and insight. Her collaborative approach delivers transformative results – strengthening annual funds, boosting donor engagement, and laying the foundation for major and planned gifts.
